Pennine Law Solicitors
Pennine Law Solicitors, are a South Yorkshire based-private Law firm who specialise in the Buying and Selling of Residential and Commercial Property, Family Law, Wills, Trust, Probate, Business Law and Partnerships and Employment Law. Pennine Law have been a long standing client of Wilson Design, our first project being their corporate branding back in 2008. The original brief was to create a fresh look and feel the company. We incorporated hills, valleys and rivers into the logo to bring that little bit of The Pennines and of course Yorkshire into the mix, with the main colour of pale blue to set the scene for the modern fresh solution. In-keeping with the fresh-countryside feel, the combined imagery incorporates fresh green grass and bright blue skies. along with a few fun twists; a dolls house for conveyancing, a group of ducklings for family law and a piggy bank for trusts and probate. Pennine Law’s company website had certainly stood the test of time, having not changed much over the years, but the way in which it was built had become outdated, being left behind by the ever changing internet. This is a common problem with older websites, where the coding used to build them is no longer supported. So we advised that the website be freshended up and rebuilt to suit the modern internet needs and requirements. As they were still happy with the original design and feel of their website, it was agreed that we would rebuild the site to todays internet standards, such as including a mobile friendly version, whilst keeping the original appearance. With a few little tweaks, the end product now looks fresh and crisp, but more importantly it is built in a way that will enable it to work and serve its purpose well into the future.

Having recently designed and produced a high-spec product brochure and price list range for Talurit UK’s new Xona Division, a need for storing the brochures became apparent. With Talurit’s clients often being based in very industrial settings, the brief was to create storage to fit their brochure range, but above all, it needed to be robust, protective and provide longivity. The solution was a hard box with magnetic fastening and a thick laminate to the outer for protection.

Every business or organisation is different in one way or another on how they approach graphic design, website design and marketing, and every business or industry type has their own way of doing things.
Our designers will not just design something because it looks pretty and we won't encourage you to trial anything that we wouldn't do ourselves. Everything we do must have purpose, a reason. But above all else it must work and deliver results, nothing less.
