Way, way… way back in 1999. Before the days of Facebook and Twitter when people actually had to talk to each other (imagine that) I began my design career. Since my arrival on the design scene I have worked for clients across the UK and Europe including the music industry and public sector.
I joined the good ship Wilson Design in 2011, bringing my thirteen years industry experience and specialising in all things print and coffee making.
Likes: Spiced Rum, Coffee, Photography and Mountain Biking (in that order).

At school, creativity definitely outweighed my three Rs, so design became my obvious root. So when I graduated uni in '99 I joined the team, be it a small one back then as a graphic designer with a full head of dark brown hair. Since then, the team has grown, I have gone on to specialise in website design and online marketing and my dark brown hair is now a lighter shade of grey!
Likes: Partial to an alcoholic beverage or six, a warmer climate and has been known to wear pink (apparently).

I always say my marketing experience started when I was 13, Landing my first job on Barnsley Market. Selling hand bags of all things, then pottery, and even curtains. I never looked back and I knew what I wanted to do there and then.
Back then, I called it “selling other peoples stuff” later I called it marketing. It became my hobby, and later my profession, one that I’ve never tired of in the last 26 years.
Likes: Wakeboarding, Going on expeditions and when a plan comes together!

I guess I have always wanted to do design of some kind from a young age. At school I was given the opportunity to source my own work experience, taking this opportunity to not go to school for a few weeks, found me commuting 4 hours a day to a small design studio in Leeds. I had a fantastic time and it sealed my career choice of Graphic Design.
From here I studied at Wakefield College then onto Derby University to do my Degree with Hons.
I love it when the studio is busy, everybody always pulls together to get the work done. It is also nice to say we have never missed a clients deadline.
Likes: Hearing my children laugh, Water Skiing, Hiking & Camping and an Adventure!

Art Attack, Tony Hart and Blue Peter were programs I loved to watch as a child (and secretly still do ssshhhh!) I was a dab hand with some PVA glue, a toilet roll tube and some pipe cleaners. I've always been very creative and knew I wanted to do something 'arty'.
I went on to study art and design at Wakefield then graphic design at Sheffield before joining the team as a designer eight years ago - blimey, that long - time really does fly when you're having fun :)
Likes: Camping, hiking, and all things cake.
Dislikes: Beetroot!!!!!

I started working for Wilson Design House in August 2003 and love what I do (well, when my lovely colleagues don’t pick on me!!) It’s nice to work in a family-style environment where everyone works as a team, even if they do drive me mad from time to time!
Likes: Get togethers with friends and family and yummy, yummy chocolate!!!

I must have been about 8 when i picked up my first camera....well i say 'my', first i borrowed my grandads, then my dad's, then I got my own, and shot roll after roll of film (yes i'm that old). I'm passionate about what I do, I get withdrawal if i'm not shooting! for me it's about using my skills and experience to deliver what the client wants.
Likes: Single Malt, Mountain Biking (love my Marin!), Photography (obvioulsy!), my two georgeous kids (i'm biased), Martial Arts.
