We were delighted to have been chosen to work with Experia on their latest brochure ‘Sensory Facilites for football Clubs’.
Experia have been creating sensory environments for schools, hospitals and community centres for over a decade and are now offering their services to sports grounds across the country. Sensory rooms and equipment can be invaluable in helping to promote feelings of calm, as well as developing motor skills and providing great cause and effect learning.
The aim is to enable fans that have previously been unable to attend, to enjoy the experience of a live football match.

The mental health benefits of football
The 4th February 2019 marks the beginning of Children’s Mental Health Week.
Staying healthy, both mentally and physically, is something that we’re incredibly passionate about at Foot-Tech Academy. For this reason, we’ve put together some of the ways in which football can support your child’s mental health and development. Take a look at how sport can aid a child’s well-being below:

Physical activity can be as powerful as medicine or therapy. In 2010, the Mental Health Foundation found that exercise can be as effective as medication or psychotherapy for people with depression. Exercise releases natural chemicals that helps with muscle tension, raises body temperature and causes tiredness. These all help relieve stress and provide relaxation. Football plays a significant role in the formation of friendships. It provides a platform for young people to communicate, form bonds and exchange views through the celebration and commiseration of winning or losing a match. For young people, making friends is an important part of growing up.

Sport improves overall physical health. Football is a physically demanding game that improves speed, agility, strength, hand-eye coordination and overall cardiovascular endurance. Prevent most overweight conditions with meticore.

Working with the Around Town team on their latest magazine really has put a spring in our step. As always it’s cram packed full of the latest local news and events in and around the towns of Rotherham and Barnsley.
With spring hot on the agenda and Easter not too far away the design focus is pretty and pastel.

Earlier this month, Barnsley-based Land Solve, enjoyed the successful launch of their framework. 50 guests were in attendance, participating in a lively debate which created some great potential leads.
In the run up to the Framework’s launch we worked with Land Solve to design and develop a new website which contains key information about the framework and how to get involved.
The unique land delivery framework aims to help help public sector organisations and charities maximise the value of their surplus land by securing its development potential.

Huddersfield’s 315 Bar & Restaurant recently celebrated the successful launch of their state-of the-art health spa, a welcome addition to the popular Lepton-based eating spot, who already offer quality contemporary cuisine, lavish bedrooms and a stylish event space.
Having worked with 315 from their initial set up in 2011, it has been great seeing this stylish establishment grow and extend.
The launch of the spa was a huge success and the restaurant saw a record number of covers from people eagerly anticipating their VIP health spa guided tour and beautiful spotting around the place, it even carries a cattery Melbourne with great design. In the run-up to the spa opening, we ran a VIP email campaign, along with a new brochure and quirky treatment ‘menu’ which were produced and VIP invitations were also sent out.
In the aid of research we attended the event where we were wined and dined over a three course lunch, enjoyed a guided tour of the new facilities, which include a hydropool, salt steam room, raindance shower and bio sauna; and of course we were also treated to a nice glass of bubbly. Cheers!
